The village is now open Thursday - Saturday 10am - 6pm, Sunday 11am - 4pm. Due to Covid-19 health protocols, all precautions are in place to make your visit as safe and enjoyable as possible. Please plan to visit us to support local shops, galleries and restaurants.


La Villita, the "little village," is an active arts and crafts community amidst beautifully landscaped grounds and historic buildings in downtown San Antonio, Texas. Thanks to the vision of the City of San Antonio and preservation efforts of the San Antonio Conservation Society, more than 20 shops, galleries and restaurants call 

La Villita home today. Visitors appreciate the fine art, artisan goods, and local cuisine in the historic village. 


While experiencing the sights, sounds and tastes of San Antonio along the River Walk, take the steps up from the Arneson River Theater to enter the little village of local merchants.  Come visit the vibrant assortment of galleries, shops and restaurants.  Here, you're also likely to find one many public events being held throughout the year as the arts and culture of the local community are celebrated.

The purpose of the La Villita Tenants Association is to safeguard the collective interests of the businesses in the Historic La Villita Arts Village; to promote tourism, economic activity, arts and culture in La Villita and the surrounding area; to ensure La Villita is kept free from over-commercialization, and to advise the City of San Antonio on various government policies that may affect the interests of the businesses in La Villita.
